Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an offshore Service Operation Vessel (SOV) in Brunei. You will support safe navigation, deck operations and offshore activities, working closely with the bridge and deck teams.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer with watchkeeping and navigational duties
- Plan and monitor the vessel’s route and position
- Ensure safe deck operations and support offshore work with technicians
- Maintain charts, publications and navigational equipment
- Assist with safety drills, inspections and permit-to-work systems
- Prepare and update logbooks and required reports
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer (OOW) license, meeting STCW requirements
- Experience on offshore vessels, SOV or similar is an advantage
- Valid STCW basic safety certifications and offshore medical
- Good level of English, spoken and written
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude
