Key Responsibilities
- Overall command of the tug and safety of crew, vessel, and cargo
- Plan and execute towing, escort, and berthing operations
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, flag state, and international regulations
- Lead and develop the deck and engine crew, maintaining good teamwork and discipline
- Oversee navigational planning, watchkeeping, and bridge operations
- Maintain logs, reports, and records as required
- Coordinate with port authorities, pilots, and clients for safe operations
Requirements
- Valid Master (CPT) CoC, suitable for offshore tug operations
- Previous experience as Master on tugs or similar offshore vessels
- Strong shiphandling and towing skills in coastal and port areas
- Good knowledge of ISM, ISPS, and safety management systems
- Valid STCW certificates, medical, and other mandatory documents
- Good English communication skills, spoken and written
- Ability to lead a multinational crew and work under pressure
