- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, and cargo operations
- Carry out routine deck maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning
- Keep decks, equipment, and accommodation areas in good order
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge watch as directed
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
- Support emergency drills and respond to instructions from officers and Bosun
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates and Basic Safety Training
- Previous experience as OS or deck rating on seagoing vessels preferred
- Valid seaman’s book and medical fitness certificate
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Fit for duty, safety-minded, and willing to work in a multicultural crew
- Ready to join worldwide as per vessel schedule
