HSE & Compliance Officer – FPSO Energean Power
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE & Compliance Officer to join the team onboard FPSO Energean Power.
This is a key role within the offshore operations team, responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance systems to ensure safe and efficient FPSO operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Energean Israel's Safety Management System in line with the Asset Operations Readiness Plan.
Ensure corporate Safety Management System policies and procedures are effectively implemented across FPSO operations.
Contribute to maintaining the FPSO Report on Major Hazards (ROMH) and associated compliance requirements.
Manage and maintain the Register of Risk Assessments and Major Hazards for FPSO operations and related offshore support activities.
Conduct offshore and onshore internal HSE audits to assess compliance and the effectiveness of operational controls.
Facilitate root cause analysis investigations and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Deliver training and awareness sessions on HSE compliance processes, procedures, and systems.
Ensure lessons learned from audits, incidents, and investigations are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor facility operations and arrangements to ensure compliance with the Asset Regulatory Compliance Plan.
Advise the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) on environmental, health, and safety matters and support the development of improvement initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and regularly review the Operations Department Business Continuity Plan.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to company HSE policies and promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Requirements
Previous experience in an HSE, Compliance, or Safety Advisor role within the offshore oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of offshore HSE management systems, risk assessment processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience conducting audits, investigations, and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic offshore environment while maintaining high safety standards.
