Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) onboard an offshore accommodation vessel (flotel) in Brazil. You will be part of the deck crew, helping to keep the vessel safe, seaworthy and ready to support offshore operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Perform deck maintenance, painting, cleaning and greasing
- Handle lines, fenders, gangways and deck equipment
- Assist with cargo and stores operations as required
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge when needed
- Follow safety procedures and participate in drills
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and STCW documents in accordance with flag requirements
- Previous experience as AB, preferably on offshore vessels or flotels
- Good knowledge of deck operations and safety at sea
- Medically fit for offshore work
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions in English
