Join OSM Thome, IWS as a Crane/Gangway Operator on a CSOV in Europe. You will work offshore with a dedicated team, ensuring safe cargo handling and personnel transfers to and from offshore installations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate offshore crane and motion-compensated gangway safely and efficiently
- Carry out lifting operations in line with company and vessel procedures
- Support cargo handling and deck operations as directed by the Offshore Manager
- Monitor equipment condition and report any defects or unsafe situations
- Assist with mooring operations and general deck work as required
- Follow all HSE rules and participate in safety drills and toolbox talks
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as offshore crane and/or gangway operator
- Recognized offshore crane and gangway operation certifications
- Valid STCW safety courses and offshore medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team offshore
- Willingness to work in rotation on board CSOVs in European waters
