Join OSM Thome as a Bar Waiter on a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading in the North Sea. Work with an international crew, serve passengers and officers, and help keep a friendly, safe bar atmosphere at sea.
- Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the bar and lounge
- Provide polite, efficient service to passengers and crew
- Handle cash and bar inventory, including daily stock checks
- Keep bar, counters, tables and equipment clean and orderly
- Follow ship safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Bar Waiter/Steward on passenger or cruise vessels preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Valid seafarer documents (STCW basic safety training, medical, seaman’s book as applicable)
- Customer-focused attitude and able to work in shifts
- Fit for sea service and willing to work in all weather conditions in the North Sea
