Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on our oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a safe, professional deck crew, supporting all deck operations and learning every day at sea.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, anchoring and cargo operations
- Carry out chipping, painting, cleaning and general deck maintenance
- Participate in navigational watchkeeping as lookout and helmsman when required
- Handle ropes, wires and deck gear safely
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills
- Requirements:
- Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) certificate and STCW documents
- Experience on tankers preferred (oil/chemical)
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
