- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Handle mooring and unmooring operations
- Stand lookout and wheel watch as directed by the officer on watch
- Assist with cargo operations and lashing of vehicles
- Operate deck equipment as per instructions and safety procedures
- Follow all safety rules, drills and company procedures
- Requirements:
- Valid AB (II/4 or II/5 as applicable) certificate
- Valid STCW basic safety training and seafarer medical
- Experience as AB, preferably on car carriers or similar vessels
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for sea service and willing to work in a mixed-nationality crew
