Ordinary Seaman (OS) needed for Oil/Chemical Tanker in Europe. Join OSM Thome for safe, professional tanker operations.
Set sail with OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading in Europe. You will work closely with the deck crew and officers, supporting safe and efficient vessel operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Carry out routine deck maintenance, cleaning, chipping and painting
- Support cargo operations as directed by officers and senior crew
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge watch as required
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
- Previous experience on tankers (oil/chemical) preferred
- Valid tanker familiarization / dangerous cargo certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and travel documents
