Experienced Bosun for offshore CSOV in France with OSM Thome, IWS. Ensure safe deck operations and support marine activities.
Work as Bosun on board a modern CSOV. You will lead deck crew, support safe offshore operations and help keep the vessel ready for daily work. This role suits a hands-on seafarer who is confident on deck and committed to safety.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise deck ratings during daily operations
- Organize and carry out deck maintenance, painting and cleaning
- Assist with mooring, anchoring, cargo and supply operations
- Ensure safe use and upkeep of deck equipment and tools
- Support offshore operations and transfers as required
- Follow company safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
Requirements
- Valid Bosun/AB certificate and seagoing experience in deck department
- Previous offshore or DP vessel experience preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to lead a deck team
- Willingness to work in offshore rotation in France
