Join OSM Thome as Chief Cook (C/C) on an offshore construction vessel trading worldwide. Take charge of the galley, provide good quality meals, and ensure a clean, safe and well-organized kitchen for all crew and offshore personnel.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan menus and prepare daily meals for crew and offshore staff
- Manage galley stores, stock control, and provisioning
- Ensure food is prepared safely and hygienically at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of galley, pantry, fridges, and freezers
- Follow company standards, HSE procedures, and hygiene rules
- Supervise and guide galley assistants, if applicable
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chief Cook or Cook on offshore or seagoing vessels
- Valid seafarer documents and medicals as per STCW
- Good knowledge of international and mixed crew cuisine
- Ability to work independently and handle stock planning
- Good English communication skills
- Strong focus on safety, hygiene, and teamwork
