Join OSM Thome as 3rd Officer on a shuttle tanker trading off Brazil. You will support safe navigation, cargo operations and deck routines, working closely with the bridge and deck teams.
Temporary replacement for 8 weeks, joining on 27 July 2027 in Brazil.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with voyage planning, watchkeeping and ship handling
- Carry out navigation watch as assigned by the Chief Officer/Master
- Support cargo and shuttle loading/offloading operations
- Monitor safety equipment and take part in drills
- Assist with deck maintenance and mooring operations
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Officer (OOW) license, meeting STCW requirements
- DP course
- Tanker/shuttle tanker experience minimum 6 months in rank
- All mandatory STCW certificates and valid medical
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
