Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) onboard an offshore PSV operating out of Aberdeen, UK. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems, supporting vessel operations and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Key responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems onboard.
- Carry out planned maintenance on power generation, distribution systems and DP/automation equipment.
- Support engine room and deck teams with electrical and control system issues.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with class, flag and company standards.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and report defects and repairs in a timely manner.
- Requirements:
- Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) CoC and relevant STCW certificates.
- Proven experience as ETO, on offshore vessels/PSVs.
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic, and automation systems.
- Good English communication skills and ability to work in a multinational crew.
- Medically fit for sea service and holding all required offshore certificates.
