Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) trading in UK waters. You will support safe and efficient offshore operations and assist the Master in all aspects of vessel management.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master with safe navigation and vessel operations
- Plan and supervise deck crew and deck work
- Oversee cargo and deck load operations, including DP routines
- Manage stability, ballasting and seaworthiness of the vessel
- Maintain and update safety, security and environmental procedures
- Lead drills and training for the crew
- Ensure proper maintenance of deck equipment and lifesaving appliances
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer license (STCW II/2) suitable for offshore / PSV operations
- Previous experience as Chief Officer on PSV and similar offshore vessel
- Good knowledge of DP operations and offshore field procedures
- Strong leadership, communication and team-working skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
