Join OSM Thome as Galley Utility on a passenger ferry in Europe. Work closely with the galley team to keep the kitchen, stores, and equipment clean, safe, and ready for service to crew and passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist cooks and galley staff with basic food preparation and service
- Clean galley equipment, utensils, work areas, and stores
- Collect, wash, and store dishes and cookware
- Handle garbage segregation and disposal in line with vessel procedures
- Support loading, checking, and proper storage of provisions
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and environmental rules and routines
Requirements
- Previous experience in galley or catering work at sea or ashore preferred
- Basic knowledge of galley safety and food hygiene
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as required
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ready to work in shifts and in a busy passenger ferry operation
