**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for a Master (CPT) for a Panama-flagged chemical tanker, operating worldwide. Joining port: Singapore. The Master will be responsible for safe navigation, cargo operations, and overall vessel management in compliance with international regulations and company procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Command and overall responsibility for vessel, crew, cargo, and environment
- Plan and conduct safe navigation and ship handling in all conditions
- Oversee chemical cargo loading, carriage, and discharge according to procedures
- Ensure compliance with flag state, class, and international regulations
- Lead and supervise deck and engine officers and crew
- Maintain onboard discipline, safety culture, and emergency preparedness
- Approve and monitor voyage planning, stability, and cargo documentation
- Coordinate with company, agents, terminals, and authorities as required
**Requirements**
- Valid Master (CPT) license, unlimited
- Experience with MAN ME-C or similar low-speed electronically controlled main engines
- Previous experience as 2nd Engineer with ME-C engine operation and maintenance
- Chemical tanker experience preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and documents as per rank and vessel type
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Fit for duty as per medical standards and able to join in Singapore
