Join our team as a Wiper on board an LNG tanker trading in Brazil. In this role, you will support the engine department in keeping all machinery spaces clean, safe, and running smoothly as you build your sea-going career.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers and motormen with daily engine room operations
- Carry out cleaning, chipping, painting, and general maintenance in machinery spaces
- Handle tools, materials, and stores as directed by senior engine staff
- Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems at all times
- Take part in drills and emergency duties as per muster list
- Requirements:
- Valid seaman’s book and basic STCW certificates
- Previous engine room or deck rating experience preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Willingness to work in engine room conditions and learn from senior crew
