Set sail as Chief Officer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. Take a leading role on deck and bridge, support the Master in daily operations, and help us run a safe and efficient vessel.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in navigation, passage planning, and watchkeeping
- Lead deck crew in cargo operations, mooring, and maintenance
- Oversee cargo loading, stowage, stability, and ballast operations
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and international rules
- Maintain deck equipment, safety gear, and life-saving appliances
- Prepare and update deck and safety documentation as required
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer license (STCW II/2) for vessels of appropriate tonnage
- Recent experience as C/O or 2/O on bulk carriers
- Good knowledge of cargo handling, stability, and bulk carrier operations
- Valid STCW certificates, medical fitness, and seaman’s documents
- Good English communication skills
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and safety mindset
