Join OSM Thome as a Steward/Stewardess on a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading in France. You will help keep good order, cleanliness and service standards for crew and passengers, supporting safe and smooth vessel operations.
4 week Trip
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with meal service, including setting up, serving and cleaning in mess and galley areas
- Keep cabins, mess rooms, corridors and public areas clean and tidy
- Handle laundry and linen, including collection, washing, drying and distribution
- Support stock control of cleaning items and catering stores
- Follow onboard hygiene, safety and security procedures at all times
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Steward/Stewardess at sea, preferably on RORO/ROPAX or passenger vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness in line with international regulations
- Good spoken English; basic French is an advantage
- Strong teamwork, service-minded attitude and good personal hygiene
- Willingness to work in shifts and live onboard for contract periods
