Join OSM Thome as 3rd Officer on our container vessel trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional deck team, ensuring safe navigation, cargo operations and compliance with international regulations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with safe navigation, watchkeeping and voyage planning
- Support cargo operations, stability and ballast control as instructed
- Maintain safety, lifesaving and firefighting equipment
- Assist with mooring, anchoring and shipboard drills
- Keep accurate logs and reports as required
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license, STCW-compliant
- Experience on container vessels preferred
- Valid STCW basic and advanced certificates, including medical
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty and willing to work in a multinational crew
