Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a Fast Supply Vessel operating offshore Israel. We are looking for an experienced and safety-minded C/O with strong leadership skills and solid offshore background.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel
- Plan and oversee deck operations, cargo and supply runs
- Lead and supervise deck crew and bridge watchkeeping
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, SMS and international regulations
- Maintain navigational equipment, charts and publications up to date
- Monitor stability, ballast and loading conditions
- Support emergency drills and safety training onboard
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer (or Chief Mate) certificate of competency, suitable for vessel and trading area
- Previous experience as C/O or 2/O on offshore / FSV or similar vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore medical
- Strong navigational and shiphandling skills in offshore operations
- Good English communication skills
- Proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork
