OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on a container vessel trading worldwide. You will be part of the engine department, keeping all electrical and electronic systems safe, reliable and in good running order.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems on board
- Troubleshoot faults in power generation, distribution and control systems
- Maintain and test navigation, communication and safety systems
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and condition checks as per PMS
- Support engine and deck teams during operations, bunkering and cargo handling as required
- Ensure all work follows safety procedures and company standards
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and STCW certificates as required for rank
- Sea experience as ETO, preferably on container vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
