Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on a shuttle tanker trading in the North Sea. You will be part of a steady, professional engine team, keeping the vessel safe, reliable and in good running condition.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist Chief Engineer in daily operation and maintenance of all main and auxiliary machinery
- Monitor and adjust engine room systems, including fuel, lubrication and cooling systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshooting on engines and equipment
- Ensure safe engine room watchkeeping and proper logbook entries
- Follow company and vessel procedures for safety, environmental protection and reporting
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) license for seagoing vessels
- Experience as 2/E on tankers; shuttle tanker experience
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker endorsements as per rank
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
