OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 3rd Officer for LPG/Ethylene tankers trading worldwide. If you are a safety-minded deck officer with solid tanker experience and ready for global trading, this role could be a great match.
Key responsibilities
- Stand navigational watches as per company and bridge procedures
- Assist with passage planning, position fixing, and ship handling
- Assist with cargo operations, tank preparations, and gas handling
- Maintain and inspect life-saving and firefighting equipment
- Support the implementation of safety and environmental procedures
- Carry out assigned deck maintenance and administrative duties
Requirements
- Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license, meeting STCW requirements
- Previous sea service on LPG and/or Ethylene tankers preferred
- Valid tanker endorsements and relevant gas tanker training
- Up-to-date STCW safety courses and medical fitness certificate
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in an international crew
- Prefers with valid US VIsa
- Must have valid BT PSSR Training
