OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Master (CPT) to safely command a general cargo vessel trading worldwide. If you are a strong leader with solid sea time and proven command experience, we want to hear from you.
- Key responsibilities:
- Overall command of the vessel and crew
- Ensure safe navigation and cargo operations
- Maintain compliance with international and company regulations
- Oversee vessel documentation, reports, and records
- Lead and train officers and crew, promoting a strong safety culture
- Coordinate with office, agents, and charterers as required
- Requirements:
- Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC
- Recent experience as Master on general cargo or similar vessels
- Good knowledge of international maritime rules and regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Valid STCW certificates, medical, and travel documents
- Good level of English, spoken and written
