We are looking for an experienced Steward/Stewardess to work onboard an offshore support vessel in the North Sea on a temporary basis. You will support daily catering and housekeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all personnel offshore.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out daily cleaning of cabins, mess rooms, recreation areas, and common spaces
- Assist in meal service, including setting up the mess, serving food, and clearing tables
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in galley and pantry areas
- Handle laundry duties for crew and vessel linen as required
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety drills
- Support the catering crew with stores handling and proper stock rotation
Requirements:
- Previous experience as Steward/Stewardess or similar role onboard offshore vessels or ships
- Valid offshore certificates as required for North Sea operations (e.g. BOSIET/FOET, medical)
- Good understanding of hygiene and safety standards at sea
- Ability to work in a mixed crew and follow instructions from senior catering staff
- Fit for offshore work and willing to work in a rotation system
