Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer (2/E) on an Offshore PSV operating out of Luanda, Angola. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and engine team to keep all machinery and systems running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in day-to-day engine room operations and maintenance
- Monitor, operate and maintain main engines, auxiliaries and related machinery
- Carry out planned maintenance and repair work as per PMS and company procedures
- Keep engine room logs, records and reports updated and accurate
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with class, flag and company standards
- Support bunkering, fuel/lube oil transfers and machinery performance checks
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Engineer (Motor) CoC, STCW compliant
- Previous experience as 2/E, preferably on PSV or offshore vessels
- All mandatory STCW safety courses and valid offshore medical
- Good English communication skills
- Strong teamwork, safety mindset and problem-solving attitude
