- Key responsibilities:
- Assist deck officers during navigational watch and port operations
- Take part in cargo operations, lashings, and safety rounds
- Carry out routine deck maintenance and housekeeping
- Maintain and update logs, checklists, and safety equipment as instructed
- Follow company and vessel safety procedures at all times
- Requirements:
- Enrolled in or graduate of a maritime academy (deck department)
- Valid STCW basic safety training and seafarer medical
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for sea service and willing to work in a mixed-nationality crew
- Motivated to learn and build a long-term career at sea
- US and Schengen Visa - preferred
