The Cruise Director is responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience onboard by leading entertainment programs, social activities, and guest engagement initiatives. As the public face of the vessel, the Cruise Director creates a welcoming atmosphere, promotes guest satisfaction, and ensures the smooth execution of onboard events and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and host onboard entertainment, events, and activities.
- Act as the primary host and maintain a visible presence among guests.
- Manage guest feedback and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Lead and support the entertainment team, ensuring professional service standards.
- Coordinate with hotel and shore excursion teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' cruise ship experience in a Cruise Director or senior entertainment role.
- Strong background in hospitality, entertainment, or guest services.
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certification.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
