Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an LNG tanker trading in Brazil. You will be part of a professional engine team, helping to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently while supporting daily operations and maintenance onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and LNG systems
- Carry out planned and corrective maintenance for engine room machinery
- Monitor engine room parameters and report any abnormalities
- Follow safety and environmental procedures at all times
- Support bunker operations and engine room watchkeeping duties
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer CoC, STCW certificates and LNG tanker endorsements as required
- Previous sea service in the engine department, preferably on tankers or LNG vessels
- Good English communication skills
- Strong focus on safety, teamwork and preventive maintenance
