Join OSM Thome as a Radio Operator on an offshore accommodation vessel (flotel) in Brazil. You will handle all radio and communication systems, supporting safe and efficient operations offshore.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor all radio and communication equipment onboard
- Maintain continuous contact with offshore installations, vessels, and shore base
- Handle emergency communications and follow all safety procedures
- Keep accurate radio logs and records as required
- Support the bridge team with navigational and operational communication
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Radio Operator in offshore / marine operations
- Valid GMDSS/Radio Operator certification
- Good English communication skills, spoken and written
- Familiar with offshore safety rules and emergency procedures
- Fit and able to work in an offshore rotational schedule
