Very exciting Charter in Chile - with innovative technology
Set sail as extra Chief Officer on an offshore multipurpose vessel with OSM Thome in the United States. Take a key role on deck and bridge, supporting safe navigation, cargo and deck operations, and leading the deck crew.
Project requires the successful candidate to have Anchor Handling / Towing experience - 2 years minimum
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in safe navigation, watchkeeping and ship handling
- Plan and supervise deck and cargo operations, including mooring and anchor handling as applicable
- Lead, train and organize deck crew for daily work and drills
- Oversee maintenance of deck equipment, safety gear and lifesaving appliances
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, SMS, and international regulations
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer license (STCW) for offshore / multipurpose vessels
- Relevant sea time as C/O on similar tonnage
- Strong experience in bridge watchkeeping and deck operations
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Fit for duty with valid medical and required offshore certificates
