Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer - DPO on a Diving Support Vessel (DSV) operating offshore Doha. You will be part of the bridge team, supporting safe navigation and marine operations for diving and subsea work.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer and Master with navigation, watchkeeping and ship handling
- Plan and monitor voyages, routeing, and position keeping during offshore operations
- Support DP operations as required and maintain navigational equipment and charts
- Monitor safety on deck during diving and subsea operations
- Assist with drills, safety checks and implementation of company procedures
- Prepare and maintain logs, records and reports as required
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW (Deck) CoC, meeting STCW requirements
- Experience on offshore vessels, preferably DSV or similar
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety trainings
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for offshore service
