Join OSM Thome as a 3rd Officer on LPG/Ethylene/Ammonia tankers trading worldwide. Be part of a professional deck team, supporting safe cargo operations and navigation on modern gas carriers.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with safe navigation, watchkeeping and bridge duties
- Support cargo operations, tank preparation and gas handling
- Carry out stability, ballast and loading-related tasks as directed
- Assist with ISPS, safety drills and emergency procedures
- Perform deck maintenance and routine inspections
- Prepare and update logs, checklists and relevant reports
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license, meeting STCW requirements
- Experience on LPG or other gas / tanker vessels preferred
- Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker / gas (as applicable)
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
- Strong safety mindset and willingness to work in a multinational crew
