OSM Thome is looking for an AB Engine (Motorman/Oiler) to join a vessel in the United Kingdom as soon as possible. If you have solid engine room experience and are ready to sail, we want to hear from you.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in daily operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliaries
- Carry out routine checks, lubrication and cleaning of machinery
- Monitor engine room equipment and report any defects or irregularities
- Perform watchkeeping duties in the engine room as assigned
- Follow all safety procedures and keep engine spaces clean and orderly
- Requirements:
- Previous sea service as Motorman/Oiler or AB Engine
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents as per rank
- Good knowledge of engine room operations and basic maintenance
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Ability to join on short notice and work in a multinational crew
