OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) offshore Brazil. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board.
Key responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults in automation, control, communication and navigation systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate records and reports
- Support safe vessel operations in close cooperation with deck and engine departments
- Ensure compliance with company, class, and flag state rules and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
- Previous experience as ETO, preferably on offshore vessels/PSV
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems
- Good level of English, spoken and written
- Fit for offshore work and able to work in a multicultural crew
