Join OSM Thome as Laundry Supervisor on a passenger ocean cruise in the Mediterranean. You will be part of the housekeeping team, making sure all linens, towels, uniforms and guest items are cleaned, pressed and ready on time, keeping high hygiene and appearance standards on board.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operate washing, drying and ironing machines safely and efficiently
- Sort, wash, dry, fold and press linens, towels, uniforms and guest laundry
- Check items for damage, stains and proper cleaning quality
- Label and deliver finished laundry to the correct lockers and cabins
- Keep the laundry area clean, tidy and in line with safety and hygiene rules
- Follow onboard procedures and work closely with housekeeping and other crew
- Requirements:
- Previous experience in laundry work, preferably at sea or in hotels
- Basic knowledge of laundry machines, detergents and fabric care
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet in a warm environment
- Good English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and a positive team attitude
- Willingness to work in shifts and follow shipboard safety rules
