Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will work closely with the Master and crew to ensure safe navigation, cargo operations and deck management on an international trading pattern.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in safe navigation and ship management
- Plan and supervise cargo loading, stowage and discharging
- Lead the deck crew and oversee deck maintenance
- Maintain safety equipment and ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS
- Handle stability, ballast and cargo documentation
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license
- Experience as C/O or 2/O on bulk carriers
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good English communication skills
- Strong leadership and safety mindset
