We are looking for an experienced 2nd Officer for an offshore Fast Supply Vessel operating in Luanda, Angola. You will support safe and efficient vessel operations, navigation, and cargo runs in a busy offshore environment.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master and Chief Officer with safe navigation and watchkeeping
- Plan and execute voyages, including route planning and position fixing
- Monitor bridge equipment and ensure all navigational aids are in good order
- Assist with cargo operations, DP support, and offshore supply runs
- Maintain charts, publications, and navigational records
- Support onboard safety, drills, and emergency response
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW license meeting STCW requirements
- Previous experience on offshore vessels, preferably FSV or similar
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty and able to work in a fast-paced offshore operation
