Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer (2/O) on a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating offshore from Cairo, Egypt. We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused officer to support bridge and deck operations and ensure smooth vessel performance.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer with navigation, passage planning, and watchkeeping
- Stand bridge watch and ensure safe vessel operations at all times
- Assist with DP operations as required and follow all offshore procedures
- Oversee deck crew during cargo and supply operations
- Monitor safety equipment and participate in drills
- Keep logs, records, and reports up to date and accurate
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW license, STCW certificates up to date
- Previous experience as 2/O, preferably on PSV or other offshore vessels
- DP Full
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and good teamwork skills
- Medically fit for offshore duty
