Join our passenger ocean cruise vessel in the Mediterranean as 1st Cook. You will work closely with the Galley team to prepare tasty, well-presented meals for guests and crew, keeping high standards of hygiene and safety at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook daily menus for passengers and crew
- Assist in menu planning and portion control
- Ensure galley, equipment, and stores are clean and well maintained
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
- Support stock control, ordering, and proper storage of provisions
- Work closely with the Chief Cook and galley team to keep smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as 1st Cook or Cook on passenger or cruise vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical
- Knowledge of international and maritime catering standards
- Good command of English
- Ability to work in a busy galley and within a team
