Join OSM Thome as a 3rd Cook on a passenger ocean cruise vessel sailing in the Mediterranean. Work with an international galley team, help prepare tasty and safe meals for guests and crew, and gain valuable sea service in a professional cruise operation.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in daily food preparation for passengers and crew, following menus and recipes
- Support the Cook and senior galley staff with cooking, portioning, and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley, stores, and equipment
- Follow food safety, HACCP, and company standards at all times
- Assist with receiving, checking, and proper storage of provisions
- Requirements:
- Previous galley or cook experience at sea or from hotels/restaurants
- Basic seafarer certificates (STCW) and valid medical fitness
- Good knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety
- Ability to work in shifts in a busy galley environment
- Good English communication and teamwork skills
