Join OSM Thome as an Able Bodied Seafarer (AB) onboard STENA HORIZON. Work with an experienced crew, keep the vessel safe and shipshape, and support deck operations on a busy trading route.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out mooring and unmooring operations
- Stand lookout and helmsman watches as directed
- Assist with cargo and deck operations
- Perform routine maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills
- Support officers with any other deck duties
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and STCW basic safety training
- Valid seaman’s book and medical certificate (fit for duty)
- Experience as AB on similar vessels preferred
- Good English communication onboard
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and readiness to work at sea
