Join OSM Thome as Documentation Purser on a passenger ocean cruise vessel trading in the Mediterranean. In this role you will handle all shipboard documentation and guest accounting, ensuring smooth cruise operations and clear communication between ship, guests, and shore.
- Key responsibilities:
- Manage all guest and crew documentation, records, and reports
- Handle shipboard finance, billing, and passenger accounts
- Prepare and control voyage, port, and immigration paperwork
- Coordinate with the Master, Hotel Manager, and shore offices
- Maintain accurate filing and secure storage of all documents
- Supervise purser/administration staff as required
- Requirements:
- Experience as Purser or Chief Purser on passenger/cruise vessels
- Strong knowledge of ship documentation and port/immigration procedures
- Good understanding of onboard accounting and cash handling
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure
- Valid seagoing documents and medical, as per international standards
