Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer onboard an Offshore PSV operating out of Aberdeen, UK. We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused officer to support bridge operations and ensure smooth and efficient vessel performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watch and ensure safe vessel operations
- Assist the Chief Officer with voyage planning and bridge routines
- Monitor DP operations and support offshore work as required
- Oversee deck crew during cargo and deck operations
- Maintain charts, publications, and navigation equipment
- Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed
Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer (OOW) CoC, STCW compliant
- Previous experience on PSV or offshore vessels preferred
- Valid STCW basic safety training and medical certificate
- DP Full
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
