Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer (3/E) onboard a modern PSV trading worldwide. You will be part of a skilled engine team, helping to keep the vessel safe, efficient, and ready for offshore operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation, monitoring and maintenance of main engines and auxiliary machinery
- Carry out planned maintenance and repairs as instructed by the 2/E and C/E
- Perform engine room watchkeeping duties and keep accurate logbook entries
- Support safe bunkering, fuel transfer and machinery start-up/shutdown procedures
- Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work systems and company standards at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW 3rd Engineer CoC (III/1 or higher), suitable for offshore/PSV operations
- Previous sea service as 3/E or 4/E, preferably on offshore or similar vessels
- All valid STCW basic and advanced safety training, including medicals and offshore certificates as required
- Good English communication skills and ability to work in an international crew
- Safety-minded, hands-on and willing to work worldwide on a rotation basis
