Join OSM Thome as Housekeeping Supervisor on a passenger ocean cruise in the Mediterranean. Lead the housekeeping team to keep all guest and crew areas clean, safe, and well maintained, ensuring a high standard of comfort and service on board.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping crew in all accommodation and public areas
- Plan and monitor daily cleaning, laundry, and linen operations
- Ensure cabins and public spaces meet company hygiene and safety standards
- Carry out inspections and follow up on maintenance and repair needs
- Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver consistent service
- Control housekeeping inventories and manage stock of cleaning materials and linen
- Cooperate closely with other departments to support smooth passenger operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as Housekeeping Supervisor or similar senior role on cruise or passenger vessels
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good knowledge of shipboard hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
