Join OSM Thome as Chief Cook (C/C) onboard an Offshore Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel operating in Argentina. Take charge of the galley and provide safe, tasty and nutritious meals to keep the crew fit for duty.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare daily meals for officers and crew
- Ensure food quality, proper storage and stock control
- Maintain high standards of galley hygiene and cleanliness
- Follow vessel catering budget and ordering procedures
- Comply with all food safety and HSE rules onboard
- Requirements:
- HUET and CA-EBS Opito approved
- Experience as Chief Cook, preferably on offshore or AHTS vessels
- Valid seafarer documents and medicals as per international and flag requirements
- Knowledge of safe food handling and galley operations
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multinational crew
