Join OSM Thome as a Motorman / Oiler on an AHTS vessel operating offshore Argentina. Be part of a skilled team supporting anchor handling and supply operations, keeping our vessel safe, reliable and ready for work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineer Officers with daily engine room operations and watchkeeping
- Carry out routine maintenance, lubrication and cleaning of machinery and equipment
- Monitor main engines, generators, pumps and auxiliary systems
- Report any faults, leaks or abnormal sounds/vibrations immediately
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and toolbox talks
- Support mooring, anchor handling and deck operations as required
Requirements
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (Engine Rating) certificate and seafarer documents in line with STCW
- Previous experience as Motorman / Oiler, preferably on offshore or AHTS vessels
- HUET and CA-EBS Opito Approved
- Valid medical certificate and offshore safety courses as required
- Good English communication for work and safety
- Fit for engine room work, hands-on and safety-minded attitude
